Medical form
Bring your IMM 1017 form or any instructions provided by IRCC, if available.

Eyeglasses or contacts
Bring the corrective lenses you normally use for your vision check.

Names and dosages of all current prescriptions and regular medications.

Relevant specialist reports or records for any existing health conditions.

Interpreter
Arrange an adult interpreter if you need help in a language our team does not offer.

What to expect.
Step 1
Dress comfortably
Wear comfortable clothing and shoes so your physical examination is easy to complete.
Step 2
Eat lightly
Do not fast. Eat a light meal and drink water before you arrive for your blood sample.
Step 3
Plan ahead
Appointment times vary by age and required testing. Contact the clinic when booking if you need current timing guidance.
After your exam
We give you proof of completion.
You will receive an eMedical information sheet with your photo and case number. Keep it for submission to IRCC and tracking purposes.
Please wait two weeks
Allow two weeks before calling the clinic for an update on your application status.

Yes. It is your responsibility to complete the X-ray after birth and notify our office when it is done. Please provide your visa office with a copy of the Pregnancy Deferral Document.
Yes. An additional service charge applies. You can request a copy through our Order Results page after your case has been submitted.

An immigration medical exam is valid for 12 months. Complete your application within that period or you may need another examination.
